Aramid threading tape is used during sheet threading and rethreading to guide the wet pulp sheet tail through the dryer section. Sun Hong pulp dryer threading tape helps establish a stable threading path during machine start-up and after a sheet break. Sun Hong threading tape is made from carefully selected imported 100% Kevlar para-aramid yarn. We rigorously inspect every raw material batch before it enters production. We then weave the yarn into a stable tape structure, precisely fold and stitch it to form finished threading tape for pulp dryer applications. Insert the Tail Open the aramid threading tape and insert the sheet tail into the fold. Thread Through the Dryer The fold closes to hold the tail securely, and the pulp dryer aramid threading tape carries it through the dryer section along the designated threading path. Release the Sheet Once the tail reaches the required position, the pulp sheet broadens to its normal web width, and the aramid threading tape is released. The narrow sheet tail acts like a lead-in strip, while the aramid threading tape guides it through the dryer section. Once the tail reaches the required position, the full-width pulp sheet follows along the established path. Generally speaking, the length of the aramid threading tape is about 600- 1000 m, but it can be customized by Sun Hong based on the specific conditions of your actual pulp dryer machine. Made from carefully selected and inspected 100% para-aramid fiber and Kevlar, Sun Hong threading tape offers tensile strength 2–3 times higher than standard nylon, with significantly lower elongation and greater dimensional stability. This helps maintain stable tension throughout the threading process and keeps the folded section securely closed around the pulp sheet tail.
