Press felt has three main functions in the paper making process: (1) absorbing moisture from the paper sheets as a dehydration medium; (2) making the paper sheets flat during the wet paper web conveying and dehydration process; (3) transporting the paper sheets from the wire section to the dryer section through the press section, driving the passive roller and other equipment to operate, and acting as a conveyor belt.
