What is a crescent former forming fabric?

The crescent former forming fabric is a forming fabric developed by Sun Hong specifically for crescent shaped toilet paper machine. Its unique structural design and manufacturing process directly affect the bulk and softness of toilet paper and effectively improve production efficiency. It is an important core dehydration component.

The crescent former forming fabric needs to adapt to the dynamic dehydration needs in high speed and high humidity environments and adopts a variety of processes

The surface layer uses ultra-fine polyester monofilaments, and the high-density weaving accurately intercepts fibers to reduce fiber loss (less than 5%). The porosity of the middle layer is improved to accelerate water penetration. The bottom layer is a composite of thickened monofilaments and anti-stretching base fabrics to withstand vacuum box suction and mechanical tension. Before leaving the factory, it undergoes constant tension heat setting treatment, which can keep the forming fabric stable even in high speed operation and reduce “snake deviation”.
