The 2.5 Layer forming fabric is a standard two layer design with additional weft yarns on the forming side for increased pulp fiber support and a more developed structure due to the reduced number of yarns on the wear side compared to the forming side. 2.5 layers of forming fabric can be woven into 8, 16 shed. Woven design provides even distribution of pulp fibers and open top surface area provides excellent drainage, Suitable for paper machines below 800 m/min.
